DIY: AN ESSENTIAL CASE

Per fare questo semplicissimo astuccio avete bisogno di:

- pelle o eco pelle, non molto spessa;

- una squadra;

- un taglierino;

- una matita;

- una lesina o similare;

- del filo cerato;

- un ago a cruna larga.

If you want to realize this super easy case you will need:

- leather or eco leather, not much thick I recommend;

- a square;

- a cutter;

- a pencil;

- an awl or similar;

- a waxed thread;

- a needle with large eye.

1. Tagliate la pelle seguendo le misure nella foto.

1. Cut the leather following the measurements in the picture.

2. Giratela dalla parte che sarà l'interno del vostro astuccio, dividetela con la matita in 4 parti.

2. Turn the leather on the side that will be the inside part of your case, divide it with a  pencil in 4 parts.

3. Piegate la pelle facendo combaciare la prima parte con la terza, fate i buchi con una lesina (io l'ho rubata da una vecchia cassetta degli attrezzi di mio padre, ma potete comunque trovarla in qualsiasi ferramenta!) o con qualcosa di appuntito, ogni buco con una distanza di 1 cm.

3. Fold the leather by matching the first part with the third, then pierced it with an awl (I have stolen the old toolbox of my father, but you can still find it in any hardware store!) or with something sharp, each with a distance of 1 cm.

4. Cucite con il filo. Fate un doppio nodo sul primo e sull'ultimo buco, in maniera da fermarlo.

4. Sewn with the thread. Take a double knot on the first and last hole, so as to stop the wire.

5. Rovesciate l'astuccio. (come nella foto)

5. Overturned the case. (as shown in the picture)

6. Abbellitelo a vostro piacimento, io ad esempio, ho inciso la mia Aloha.

6. Embellished the case as you like the most, for example , I recorded my Aloha.
